A note from Lindy Groban....
"Yesterday, Val forwarded me a note from two fans from Maryland, Rachel and Stacey. They had a listening party to help collect toys and donations for Toys For Tots. It was an incredible letter. Anticipating, because of our recession, around 200 toys, they were overwhelmed by the generous response of 720 toys and donations for JGF of $3,800. The same day I also received the final total from the holiday auction of $28,800 bringing the fan contribution to The Josh Groban Foundation to over $800,000! Sometimes things happen that you can't wrap your arms around. Sometimes it is difficult to find the words. Against the odds of a declining economy, you were there. As I was listening to NOEL, thinking about what I wanted to say to you all, Thankful's lyrics jumped out at me anew and expressed much more eloquently my feelings. Please know that as I listen to that song, I am thinking of you. Josh and all of us on his team are thankful for YOU. Thankful for those of you taking your love of Josh's music and translating that love into giving back. I think we are all trying to find that place where we feel connected where each of us can find each other's light. Thank you so much for turning the lyric into a reality.

5,803 TOYS!!!!!!!! Josh and I want to send A HUGE THANK YOU!!!!!!! to everyone for this remarkable achievement!!!! ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!!!!! You continue to surprise us and support us in so many loving and giving ways. We are so grateful to you all. Words really are not enough. I wish I could give you each a hug!! As incredible and super human as Lynn, Larry and the team are, I did not expect huge numbers this year because everyone has been impacted by the economy. The amount of organization, time, listening parties, so many individuals coming together to make a difference is just overwhelming. You continue to push the limits!!!! I knew that the Marine collection numbers were down, so to see this response is just so heartwarming. We are just over the moon!!! You are bringing Christmas to thousands of children! Imagine that!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!!!!!!
